Tagoo Black

Perched above Mykonos Town in the quiet hillside of Tagoo, Tagoo Black Mykonos is a small boutique hideaway that blends Cycladic simplicity with modern minimalism. With only a handful of rooms, sea-view balconies, and a peaceful pool overlooking the Aegean, it offers a more intimate stay while still being close to the island’s vibrant center.

Location & Setting

Located in the Tagoo area just above Mykonos Town, the hotel enjoys elevated views of the Aegean Sea while remaining within walking distance of the town’s restaurants, shops, and nightlife.

The famous Old Port of Mykonos and the lively streets around Matoyianni are roughly a 10-minute walk away. If you prefer the beach, Tourlos Beach is about 600 meters from the property.

This balance between proximity and privacy is what makes the location particularly appealing.

Rooms & Style

With just 11 rooms, Tagoo Black Mykonos keeps the atmosphere intimate and relaxed.

The design follows a monochrome Cycladic aesthetic—clean black-and-white tones, minimal décor, and bright interiors that reflect the natural light of the island. Many rooms feature balconies with sea views, while select categories include private plunge pools for guests who want extra privacy.

The overall feeling is modern, calm, and stylish without being overly formal.

Pool & Dining

The infinity-style pool is one of the highlights of the property. Overlooking the Aegean, it’s the perfect place for slow mornings or sunset relaxation.

A small pool bar serves drinks and light bites throughout the day, while the restaurant focuses on Greek flavors and fresh ingredients. Breakfast is cooked to order and included for guests, making mornings feel relaxed and personalized.

The pool area is also occasionally open for external visitors during the day (availability may vary).

Wellness & Relaxation

While the property is not a large resort spa, guests can still enjoy wellness services upon request. Treatments such as manicures, pedicures, and relaxation services can be arranged, allowing visitors to unwind without leaving the hotel.

For many guests, however, the real luxury here is simple: sea air, sun loungers, and quiet time by the pool.

Service & Atmosphere

The experience at Tagoo Black Mykonos feels personal and low-key. With a small number of rooms, service is attentive and friendly, creating an atmosphere that feels closer to a private retreat than a busy hotel.

It’s particularly popular with couples and honeymooners who want to stay close to Mykonos Town while enjoying a quieter environment at night.
